Using on RC0, works fine with smmall files. Is there a upload doc file size limitation ?

I started using this on RC0. Looks super so far. I've tested with couple of docs and also with few unstructured text files. Works well. Have a question though ! I was trying to upload a doc file of size 8 MB and it is giving an error saying , "InvokeOperation upload document failed", do we know if there is a file size limitation or do we need to change any data base setting to allow bigger size document files? Thanks !

Hi madhurakavi,

We were able to reproduce this issue, and will be working to provide you with a solution this week. You can expect more information about this shortly.

Hi madhurakavi,

We found a solution for this problem. In order to allow uploading files larger than 8 MB, you should update the Web.config file, located at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MySemanticSearch\MySemanticSearch. In that file, add the highlighted line below.

      <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="51200"/>

Once saved, close the file, and open MySemanticSearch. Now you should be able to upload files up to 50 MB in size.

You can solve this issue right away using this method. We'll upload a new version of the application shortly with this fix.
